By slowing the game down frame by frame, our coaches are able to study every detail of a player’s skating, positioning, and technique. This extra level of attention ensures that we don’t just provide general advice — we offer feedback that is specific to the individual and focused on the areas that will benefit them most.
When athletes can see themselves on video, it bridges the gap between what a coach is saying and what a player feels on the ice. Instead of trying to imagine corrections, they can watch exactly what the coach is pointing out, compare it to best practice, and understand precisely what needs adjustment. This visual approach removes confusion and frustration, making the learning process faster, clearer, and more engaging.
Video analysis also allows us to highlight progress over time. We can show players the improvements they’ve made from their first clip to their most recent one, giving them a real sense of accomplishment. Seeing their own development builds confidence and reinforces the positive results of their training, keeping them motivated to push further.
